Relax - Frankie's no fraud!
Leading international lindy hopper Dawn Hampton today stated that Frankie Manning was "More of a lindy hopper to me than anyone else could ever be!" Mr Manning yesterday revealed that he had fabricated his career as a member of the Whitey's Lindy Hoppers.
Following calls from the Swing Dancers' Action Group for Manning's
removal from the Lindy Hoppers' Hall of Fame (LHHOF), LHHFOF president
today stated that the organisation would "be thinking very carefully"
about Manning's future presence.
When asked for her opinion on the matter, Ms Hampton declared: "Don't do it!"
